# Workspaces, members and clients

> Organize computers into workspaces, invite people with the right access, and set up one workspace per client.

A workspace is a group of computers with its own members, Secrets and settings. You own the workspaces you create, and their computers run on your plan.

## Access levels

Everyone you add to a workspace gets one of two levels.

| Access | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Can chat** | Chat with the workspace’s agents and watch screens. |
| **Full access** | Everything in Can chat, plus create, change and delete computers, set up agents and connect apps. |

The owner also manages who has access, and is the only person who can invite people or make a share link.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Can chat is not a sandbox. A member who can chat can’t operate computers directly, but the agent they chat with has its own tools on the computer (shell, files, the screen) and can do what they ask. Their chats are billed to the workspace owner.

## Invite people

In Platform, open **Settings → Members** and press **Invite people**. Type one or more email addresses and pick each person’s access. New rows start at **Can chat**. Full access is one press away.

They get an email. They sign in or make a free Orgo account, and the workspace appears for them. Computers they create there run on your plan, not theirs.

To change someone’s access, remove them, or make them the owner, use the menu next to their name under **People**.

## Share a link

In the invite sheet, press **Copy link**. The link is on your clipboard at once, and whoever opens it joins the workspace as a guest who can chat. On a computer’s page, the **Invite** button (**⌘⇧I**) has the same **Copy link**, with a choice of access.

A share link lasts 30 minutes. To end one sooner, open **Settings → Members**, then **Invite by link**, and press **Revoke**.

## See what happened in a workspace

**Settings → Activity** lists who did what in the workspace, newest first. It’s for people with Full access.

## Seats per plan

Each workspace can hold this many people besides its owner, counted against the owner’s plan:

| Plan | People per workspace |
| - | - |
| Free | 0 |
| Starter | 1 |
| Growth | 5 |
| Scale | 25 |
| Enterprise | Set per account |

* Members, share-link guests and invites that haven’t expired all count.
* Accounts that pay for dedicated computers or hardware from Orgo can add 25 people, or their plan’s number if that is higher.
* People already in a workspace keep their access if your plan goes down. A lower plan only stops new people joining.

The number of workspaces you can own also depends on the plan: 3 on Starter, 10 on Growth, 25 on Scale. Plan details are in [Plans and billing](https://docs.orgo.ai/guides/billing.md).

## One workspace per client

Give each client their own workspace. Their computers, agents, connected apps and Secrets stay apart from your other clients’.

To let a client use the agent you built for them, invite them with **Can chat**. To let them connect their own apps or manage computers, give them **Full access**, as described in [Let a client connect their own account](https://docs.orgo.ai/guides/connectors.md#let-a-client-connect-their-own-account).

## Client accounts and Invoicing

If you build for clients from your own app, [Invoicing](https://docs.orgo.ai/guides/invoicing.md) makes a workspace and a scoped API key for each client. Clients never sign in to Orgo. You choose who pays: you, from your plan, or your client, monthly through a payment link in your business’s name. When the work is done, you can transfer the workspace to the client’s own Orgo account.
